The Incredibly Versatile Chocolate Cookie

1 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup butter

2 teaspoons vanilla

2 eggs

2 ¼ cup flour

¾ cup coco powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

Powdered sugar for rolling the cookies in


Mint versions ** (my favorites)

Small -1 or 2 junior mints inside

Medium -½ mini peppermint patty

Large- mini peppermint patty

Colorful – add crushed up candy cane pieces


ROLO Version

Add a Rolo inside each cookie


Coconut version

Add coconut


Peanut Butter Version

Add Mini Reese’s peanut butter cups - (cut in ½ or whole)

Mix -all ingredients together

BE CREATIVE MAKE UP YOUR OWN VERSION

Choose your flavor and roll cookie dough around your treat of choice and to form a ball.

Dip balls in sugar or powdered sugar/Place on cookie sheet

Bake at 375 degrees for 7 to 9 minutes – DO NOT OVER COOK

COOL AT LEAST 5 MINUETS ON TRAY BEFORE TRANSFERING TO RACK so the middle solidifies before you move them – you will have less breakage this way.
